Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Guwahati to Bhalukpong
- Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station and meet your driver.
- Begin the road journey through Assam towards Tezpur and Bhalukpong.
- Enjoy the changing landscapes as you approach the foothills of Arunachal Pradesh.
- Complete the required entry and permit checks.
- If time permits, visit the Tipi Orchid Research Centre, subject to opening hours.
- Check in to your hotel, relax by the Kameng River, and enjoy dinner.
Day 2Bhalukpong to Dirang
- Enjoy breakfast and check out from the hotel.
- Drive through forested mountain roads towards Dirang.
- Stop at scenic viewpoints along the way, depending on road and weather conditions.
- Visit the Tipi Orchid Research Centre if it was not covered on Day 1 and time permits.
- On arrival in Dirang, explore the traditional Dirang Dzong village area.
- Visit Dirang Monastery or the hot springs if time, access, and opening arrangements allow.
- Check in to your accommodation and enjoy a relaxed evening in the mountains.
Day 3Dirang to Tawang via Sela Pass
- Have an early breakfast and begin the scenic drive to Tawang.
- Travel through the spectacular Himalayan landscapes around Sela Pass and Sela Lake.
- Stop for photographs and mountain views, weather and road conditions permitting.
- Visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial to learn about its significance in the 1962 India–China war.
- Continue towards Tawang, enjoying the dramatic mountain scenery along the route.
- Check in to your hotel on arrival and relax after the drive.
- If you arrive early enough, explore the local market or enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 4Tawang to Bomdila
- Start early and visit the iconic Tawang Monastery, subject to opening hours.
- Begin the return journey towards Bomdila.
- Stop at Nuranang Falls near Jang to admire the waterfall and take photographs.
- If not covered on Day 3, visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial and enjoy the scenic surroundings near Sela Pass, subject to available time.
- Continue the mountain drive through Dirang towards Bomdila.
- Arrive in Bomdila, check in to your hotel, and relax.
- If time permits, visit Bomdila Monastery or explore the local market.
Day 5Bomdila to Guwahati
- Enjoy breakfast and check out from the hotel.
- If time permits, take a short visit to Bomdila Monastery or a nearby viewpoint.
- Begin the return journey through Bhalukpong and Tezpur towards Guwahati.
- Take comfort and meal breaks along the way as needed.
- Arrive in Guwahati and get dropped off at the airport or railway station for your onward journey.

Our Japan trip was an amazing experience from start to finish. The planning and arrangements were handled very smoothly, and the overall itinerary gave us a great mix of cities, culture, food and experiences. Osaka was one of my personal highlights. The food scene, atmosphere and energy of the city were fantastic. Tokyo was equally impressive in its own way, especially with its incredible public transport, neighbourhoods and sheer scale. Kyoto was beautiful and offered a completely different experience with its temples, traditional streets and cultural charm. Unfortunately, we had quite a bit of rain during our time there, so I definitely feel there is more of Kyoto left to explore — which gives me a good reason to come back! The Shinkansen experience was another major highlight. Travelling between cities was comfortable, efficient and an experience in itself. Japan's public transport system is genuinely impressive and made exploring the country extremely convenient. The food was another big part of the trip. From ramen to exploring different local dishes, Japan gave us plenty of memorable food experiences. 🍜 What also stood out was how helpful and polite people were throughout the trip, along with the incredible cleanliness everywhere we went. Overall, Japan was a fantastic experience and one of those trips that leaves you feeling that you haven't seen enough and need to come back again. ❤️🇯🇵 A big thank you to Shaaz for helping make the trip so smooth and memorable. Would definitely recommend their services to anyone planning a trip to Japan!
