Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Guwahati to Kaziranga National Park
- Upon arrival in Guwahati, meet the group and begin our journey towards Kaziranga National Park, one of India's most renowned wildlife destinations.
- Enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful landscapes of Assam, passing tea gardens, green countryside, and small local settlements.
- On arrival, check in to the hotel or resort and relax after the journey.
- If time permits, explore the nearby surroundings or enjoy a peaceful evening at the property.
- Have dinner and rest well before the wildlife safari planned for the following morning.
Day 2Kaziranga Safari to Bhalukpong
- Wake up early and head out for a thrilling jeep safari in Kaziranga National Park, exploring its vast grasslands and wildlife-rich landscapes.
- Keep an eye out for the famous one-horned rhinoceros, wild elephants, deer, and a variety of bird species. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.
- Return to the property for breakfast and check out.
- Begin our journey towards Bhalukpong, the scenic gateway to Arunachal Pradesh, enjoying the changing landscapes of Assam along the way.
- Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and unwind beside the beautiful Kameng River surroundings, depending on the property's location.

Day 3Bhalukpong to Dirang
- After breakfast, check out and begin the scenic drive towards Dirang, a charming mountain town known for its peaceful valley landscapes and Monpa cultural heritage.
- Travel through winding mountain roads surrounded by lush forests, flowing rivers, and beautiful Himalayan foothills.
- On arrival, visit Dirang Dzong, the historic village settlement known for its traditional architecture and cultural significance.
- Explore the local surroundings and, if time permits, visit Dirang's natural hot springs.
- Enjoy the serene mountain atmosphere and capture photographs of the picturesque valley.
- Check in to the hotel and spend the evening relaxing amid the cool mountain weather.
Day 4Dirang to Tawang via Sela Pass
- After breakfast, check out and set off towards Tawang, one of the most spectacular destinations in Arunachal Pradesh.
- Cross the majestic Sela Pass, located at approximately 13,700 feet, and admire the dramatic mountain scenery and high-altitude landscapes.
- Stop at Sela Lake, also known as Paradise Lake, for photographs and breathtaking views, subject to weather and road conditions.
- Visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial, dedicated to the bravery of Indian soldiers.
- Continue the journey through mountain valleys and scenic stretches of the Eastern Himalayas.
- Arrive in Tawang by evening, check in to the hotel, and relax after the mountain drive.
Day 5Tawang Local Sightseeing
- After breakfast, head out to explore Tawang's important cultural, spiritual, and historical attractions.
- Visit the magnificent Tawang Monastery, a major centre of Tibetan Buddhist learning and one of India's largest Buddhist monasteries.
- Explore the monastery complex, prayer halls, and surrounding viewpoints while learning about the region's Buddhist traditions.
- Visit the Tawang War Memorial, which commemorates the soldiers who fought in the 1962 Indo-China War.
- Spend some time exploring Tawang's local market, where you can browse traditional handicrafts, souvenirs, and local products.

Day 6Bumla Pass and Madhuri Lake Excursion
- After an early breakfast, prepare for an excursion into the spectacular high-altitude landscapes surrounding Tawang.
- Proceed towards Bumla Pass, near the India-China border, subject to the required permissions, security clearances, and road conditions.
- Visit Sangetsar Lake, popularly known as Madhuri Lake, famous for its distinctive tree trunks rising from the water and the dramatic mountain scenery.
- Enjoy the pristine surroundings and take photographs from designated viewing areas.
- Spend time appreciating the region's remote Himalayan beauty before returning to Tawang.

Day 7Tawang to Bomdila via Nuranang Falls
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the return journey towards Bomdila.
- En route, stop at Nuranang Falls, also known as Jang Falls, a spectacular waterfall surrounded by lush mountain scenery.
- Enjoy time for photographs and admire the natural beauty of the region, subject to access and available time.
- Continue through winding mountain roads and picturesque valleys towards Bomdila.
- On arrival, visit Bomdila Monastery or explore the local market if time permits.

Day 8Bomdila to Guwahati | Departure
- Wake up to the fresh mountain air and enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
- Check out and begin the journey back to Guwahati through the scenic landscapes of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam.
- Enjoy the changing views as the winding Himalayan roads gradually give way to the plains.
- Upon reaching Guwahati, proceed to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
- Bid farewell to the location with wonderful memories of Kaziranga's wildlife, Tawang's monasteries, and the breathtaking beauty of the Eastern Himalayas.

Our Japan trip was an amazing experience from start to finish. The planning and arrangements were handled very smoothly, and the overall itinerary gave us a great mix of cities, culture, food and experiences. Osaka was one of my personal highlights. The food scene, atmosphere and energy of the city were fantastic. Tokyo was equally impressive in its own way, especially with its incredible public transport, neighbourhoods and sheer scale. Kyoto was beautiful and offered a completely different experience with its temples, traditional streets and cultural charm. Unfortunately, we had quite a bit of rain during our time there, so I definitely feel there is more of Kyoto left to explore — which gives me a good reason to come back! The Shinkansen experience was another major highlight. Travelling between cities was comfortable, efficient and an experience in itself. Japan's public transport system is genuinely impressive and made exploring the country extremely convenient. The food was another big part of the trip. From ramen to exploring different local dishes, Japan gave us plenty of memorable food experiences. 🍜 What also stood out was how helpful and polite people were throughout the trip, along with the incredible cleanliness everywhere we went. Overall, Japan was a fantastic experience and one of those trips that leaves you feeling that you haven't seen enough and need to come back again. ❤️🇯🇵 A big thank you to Shaaz for helping make the trip so smooth and memorable.
