Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Guwahati to Wari Chora
- Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station and meet your trip Representative.
- Begin the road journey towards Wari Chora, enjoying the changing landscapes of Meghalaya along the way.
- Reach your accommodation, check in, relax, and enjoy dinner. Overnight stay in Wari Chora.
Day 2Wari Chora Sightseeing
- Explore the spectacular Wari Chora Canyon, known for its towering green cliffs and scenic river views.
- Enjoy locally available river experiences or boating, subject to weather, water levels, and local operating conditions.
- Spend time discovering the surrounding natural landscapes, capturing photographs, and relaxing before returning to your stay.
Day 3Wari Chora to Shillong
- Enjoy breakfast and check out before beginning the drive to Shillong.
- Take in the scenic countryside and mountain landscapes during the journey.
- Arrive in Shillong, check in to your accommodation, and spend the evening exploring Police Bazaar or relaxing. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 4Shillong to Cherrapunjee
- After breakfast, check out and drive towards Cherrapunjee through beautiful hills and misty landscapes.
- Visit Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, and selected scenic viewpoints, depending on weather and available time.
- Check in to your accommodation and enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by nature. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.
Day 5Cherrapunjee to Double Decker Living Root Bridge
- Start early and travel to Tyrna Village, the starting point for the Nongriat trek.
- Trek through lush forests and descend the steep stone steps to discover the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge.
- After exploring the bridge and surrounding natural scenery, trek back to Tyrna and return to Cherrapunjee for an overnight stay.
Day 6Cherrapunjee to Shnongpdeng
- Have breakfast, check out, and begin your drive towards Shnongpdeng via the Dawki region.
- Enjoy scenic stops along the way, with optional visits to Mawlynnong or other attractions if time permits.
- Arrive in Shnongpdeng, check in to your riverside camp or accommodation, and enjoy the peaceful river surroundings. Overnight stay in Shnongpdeng.
Day 7Shnongpdeng to Shillong
- Enjoy the morning by the Umngot River, with time for photographs or optional river activities.
- Check out and travel back to Shillong, enjoying scenic stops along the route where time allows.
- Reach Shillong, check in, and spend the evening at leisure exploring local cafés, markets, or Police Bazaar. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 8Shillong to Guwahati | Departure
- Enjoy breakfast and check out from your accommodation.
- Drive towards Guwahati, with an optional stop at Umiam Lake if your departure schedule permits.
- Reach Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, carrying home unforgettable memories of Meghalaya.

Our Japan trip was an amazing experience from start to finish. The planning and arrangements were handled very smoothly, and the overall itinerary gave us a great mix of cities, culture, food and experiences. Osaka was one of my personal highlights. The food scene, atmosphere and energy of the city were fantastic. Tokyo was equally impressive in its own way, especially with its incredible public transport, neighbourhoods and sheer scale. Kyoto was beautiful and offered a completely different experience with its temples, traditional streets and cultural charm. Unfortunately, we had quite a bit of rain during our time there, so I definitely feel there is more of Kyoto left to explore — which gives me a good reason to come back! The Shinkansen experience was another major highlight. Travelling between cities was comfortable, efficient and an experience in itself. Japan's public transport system is genuinely impressive and made exploring the country extremely convenient. The food was another big part of the trip. From ramen to exploring different local dishes, Japan gave us plenty of memorable food experiences. 🍜 What also stood out was how helpful and polite people were throughout the trip, along with the incredible cleanliness everywhere we went. Overall, Japan was a fantastic experience and one of those trips that leaves you feeling that you haven't seen enough and need to come back again. ❤️🇯🇵 A big thank you to Shaaz for helping make the trip so smooth and memorable. Would definitely recommend their services to anyone planning a trip to Japan!
