Important Notes
- Outdoor activities (such as the Reiek Peak Trek and Thenzawl Waterfall visits) are subject to weather conditions. Changes may be made to ensure passenger safety.
- The Sunday Lockdown: Mizoram is a predominantly Christian state, and Sundays are strictly observed as a day of rest. Almost all shops, restaurants, markets (including Bara Bazar), and fuel stations are closed. Taxis are very difficult to find. Plan your itinerary so that Sundays are used purely for driving between destinations or enjoying nature spots like waterfalls.
- Solomon’s Temple: Open to visitors from 09:30 AM to 04:30 PM. Ensure your clothing covers your shoulders and knees before entering the church grounds.
- Secure an ILP: Every domestic Indian traveler must obtain an Inner Line Permit (ILP) before entering Mizoram. You can apply for this online or get it upon arrival at Lengpui Airport. Foreign nationals must register with the passport authorities within 24 hours of arrival.
- Respect Quiet Hours: Mizo culture highly values peace and quiet. Avoid playing loud music in your vehicle or making noise at your resort after 09:00 PM.
- Carry Cash: Digital payments (like UPI) work in Aizawl city, but mobile networks fluctuate constantly on highways and in villages like Reiek or Thenzawl. Keep a sufficient amount of physical cash on hand for food, entry fees, and emergencies.
- Do Not Litter: Mizoram takes immense pride in its clean environment. Never leave plastic bottles or wrappers at viewpoints, waterfalls, or along the Reiek trekking trail. Pack your trash out with you.

Our Japan trip was an amazing experience from start to finish. The planning and arrangements were handled very smoothly, and the overall itinerary gave us a great mix of cities, culture, food and experiences. Osaka was one of my personal highlights. The food scene, atmosphere and energy of the city were fantastic. Tokyo was equally impressive in its own way, especially with its incredible public transport, neighbourhoods and sheer scale. Kyoto was beautiful and offered a completely different experience with its temples, traditional streets and cultural charm. Unfortunately, we had quite a bit of rain during our time there, so I definitely feel there is more of Kyoto left to explore — which gives me a good reason to come back! The Shinkansen experience was another major highlight. Travelling between cities was comfortable, efficient and an experience in itself. Japan's public transport system is genuinely impressive and made exploring the country extremely convenient. The food was another big part of the trip. From ramen to exploring different local dishes, Japan gave us plenty of memorable food experiences. 🍜 What also stood out was how helpful and polite people were throughout the trip, along with the incredible cleanliness everywhere we went. Overall, Japan was a fantastic experience and one of those trips that leaves you feeling that you haven't seen enough and need to come back again. ❤️🇯🇵 A big thank you to Shaaz for helping make the trip so smooth and memorable. Would definitely recommend their services to anyone planning a trip to Japan!
